Kulfi with Elachi Flavour



Ingredients:

  • Milk - 1/2 litre
  • Sugar - 5 tspns
  • Elachi powder - 1/4 to 1/2 tspn
  • Badam - 10 nos

Method:

  • In a thick bottomed vessel boil the milk
  • Keep it in low flame till it reduced to 1/4 amount
  • In a mixie powdered the badam 
  • Add sugar to the milk along with badam powder, elachi  powder and keep in low flame
  • After few minutes switch off the stove and cool it
  • Keep in freezer for 15 to 20 minutes
  • Take it out and then with a beater beat it and pour it in a desire moulds and again keep in freezer till it done
  • Since i didn't add any thickening agent it took 3hrs for me to get desire consistency
  • Serve chill the tasty elachi kulfi 

Note: 

  • For colour you can add little bit green  colour for elachi flavour
  • While milk is boiling add grinded white bread slice along with milk ( helps for thickening ) and condensed milk instead of sugar
  • Otherwise add corn flour dissolved in water which also helps to thickened the milk
  • If you use thickeneing agent then the kulfi will be ready with in a half to1 hr
  • You can also add rose essence for flavour
  • This is basic from this you can make mango kulfi, strawberry kulfi, kesar kulfi etc
  • I used low fat milk if you use full fat milk it will give rich taste
