Ingredients:
- Channa flour/ Gram flour - 2.5 cups
- Rice flour - 1 cup
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 to 1 tspn
- Pepper corns curshed - 1 to 11/2 tspn
- Butter - 2 tblspn
- Salt - to taste
- Hing - 1/2 tspn
- Oil - for deep frying
Method:
- Seive the gram and rice flour in a bowl add remaining ingredient except oil and mix well
- Then add water little by little and make a dough ( it should not be so hard or so soft it should be medium )
- Heat oil in a kadail, take a muruku maker with three holes as shown below
- Apply oil inside the muruku maker to avoid stickyness, drop a small amount of dough in to oil if it comes up immediately indicates the oil is ready for frying
- Take a handfull of dough and keep inside the muruku maker and press it
- After it turns golden brown take it out and keep in tissue paper, After that store in airtight container
- Serve the tasty karasev along with coffee or tea and enjoy
