Ingredients:
- Vazhakkai - 2 no
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn or as per need
- Rice flour - 1/2 tspn (optional )
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep frying
Method:
- Peel the skin of the raw banana and cut it into thin slices ( in round shape)
- Pat dry in a kitchen towl or if you feel more moisture just springle some rice flour and mix it properly
- Heat oil in a kadai for deep fry
- Deep fry the chopped raw banana in small small batches , till it becomes crispy
- and keep it on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil
- Don't keep it in a airtight container immediately (still hot) because it will sweat and loses it crispyness
- Then springle salt and chilli powder to the vazhakkai chips and mix well
- Serve this vazhakkai chips for sambar, rasam rice or even as snack along with coffee or tea
