Ingredients:
- Tomato - 4 nos
- Onion - 1 no (big)
- Cloves - 2 no
- Cinnamon - 1 no ( 1 inch )
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tspn
- Kasuri methi - 1 tspn
- Jeera - 1/2 tspn
- Chilli powder - 1 tspn
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
- Thick Coconut milk - 1/4 cup
- Oil - 3 tspn
- Salt - to taste
Method:
- Chop the tomato and onion and keep aside
- Heat oil in a kadai, add cloves, cinnamon, jeera after it pops out add onion, ginger garlic paste and saute it
- After 2 mins add tomato and saute, when tomato becomes tender add chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala, kasuri methi ,salt and mix well
- Keep in low flame for 3 mins stir inbetween
- Then add coconut milk, as required and switch off the stove
- Serve this as side dish to dosa, idli, chappathi
