Sweet Corn Fritters



Ingredients:

  • Sweet Corn - 11/4 cup
  • Maida - 2 tblspn
  • Corn flour - 2 tblspn
  • Rice flour - 2 tblspn
  • Sooji - 2 tblspn
  • Gram flour - 1 tblspn
  • Fried peanut powder - 1 tblspn
  • Chilli powder - 1 to 11/2 tspn
  • Asafoetida powder - a pinch
  • Chopped coriander leaves - as required
  • Cooking soda - a pinch
  • Chaat masala - for springle on top
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - for deep fry

Method:

  • Steam the sweet corn and grind  1 cup of sweet corn and keep 1/4 cup as whole
  • In a bowl take grinded and whole sweet corn, all above ingredients except oil and mix well
  • No need for water if want add cold water little bit at time and form a dough
  • Heat oil in a kadai and take small amount of dough make any shape you like and deep fry it in oil
  • Springle chaat masala on top and serve the tasty crispy sweet corn fritters
