Ingredients:
- Ragi flour - 1 cup
- Channa flour - 2 tblspn
- Onion chopped - 1 no
- Ginger chopped - 1 tspn
- Green chilli chopped - 2 no
- Chopped Mint and Coriander leaves - 1 tblspn each
- Broken fried peanut - 11/2 tblspn
- Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tspn
- Lime juice - 1/2 to 1 tspn (depends on taste)
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep frying
- Water - as required to form dough
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying
- In a bowl take all the ingredients except oil and water and mix them well
- Then add water little by little to form a dough
- Thrown in small piece of dough in to the oil , if it rises immediately to the surface it is in correct heat
- Drop roughly shaped dough in to the oil and fry the pakoras till it turns golden brown on both sides
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup
