Brinjal Masala Fry



Ingredients:

  • Brinjal - 5 to 6 nos
  • Olive oil or any oil - 1 1/2 tblspn
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Coriander powder - 1 tspn
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
  • Chaat masala - a pinch
  • Tandoori masala - 1 tspn
  • Salt - to taste

Method:

  • Wash and cut the brinjal in to circle shape
  • In a plate add 1 tblspn olive oil, turmeric, chilli, coriander,garam masala, tandoori masala powder, salt and mix them well
  • To this add the cut brinjal and mix them well till the brinjal coated well with the masala
  • Keep this aside for 15 to 20 minutes to marinate 
  • Heat tava add 1 tspn of oil and spread then add the brinjal pieces one by one on the tava and cook on both sides till it becomes golden brown 
  • Or else you can heat 2 tspn of oil in a kadai and add the marinated brinjal and fry till it turns golden brown on both sides

Note:

  • Since we didn't add gram flour you should eat immediately, because the cripsyness will not long last
  • You can add amchur powder instead of chaat masala
