Ingredients:
- Sooji - 1/2 cup ( my cup measures 120ml )
- Milk - 1 3/4 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Coco powder - 1 1/2 tblspn
- Cinnamon powder - a pinch
- Cardamon - 2 nos
- Vanilla essence - few drops
- Cashew - 6 nos ( how much you want you can add :) )
- Ghee - 3 to 4 tspn
Method:
- Dissolve the coco in warm water (dont add more water 2 or 3 tblspn is enough ) and keep it aside
- Fry the cashew in 1 tspn of ghee till it turns golden brown
- To the same kadai roast the sooji for 5 mins and keep it aside
- Heat milk in the kadai when it starts to boil slow down the flame and add sooji slowly by constant stirring
- After the sooji cooked add sugar, sugar melts and combine with the sooji and form a thick mixture at this stage add cinnamon powder, cardamon and coco paste
- Mix them nice and add ghee 2 tspn and stir continously
- when the mixture comes without touching the vessel add the fried cashew, vanilla essence and switch off the stove
- Serve the yummy choco kesari hot or cold
- You can also add badam and kismiss
