Ghajira



Ingredients:

  • Sooji or rava - 1 cup (240ml)
  • Maida flour - 2 1/2 tblsp
  • Coconut gratings - 1 1/2 tblspn
  • Sugar - 2 1/2 tblspn (depends on sweetness)
  • Milk - 2 tblspn
  • salt - a small pinch
  • Oil - for deep fry

Method:

  • In a empty pan fry the rava and keep it aside
  • In a bowl mix all the ingredients except oil and mix well then add water little by little and make a dough
  • Since coconut and milk is used so be careful in adding water
  • Keep the dough for 1 hrs by closing it with a lid or cloth
  • Heat oil in  a kadai, take lemon size dough roll it in to a circle and make desire shape and deep fry in oil
  • Serve the tasty ghajira during evening time childern will like it very much
