Chinese Style Rice Noodles ( Rice Sevai )




Ingredients:

  • Rice sevai - 2 1/2 cups
  • Paneer cubes - 11/2 tblspn
  • Chopped vegetables -  1 cup  ( carrot, beans, capsicum,cabbage)
  • Onion - 1 nos medium size
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
  • Soya sauce - 1 tspn
  • Tomato chilli sauce - 1 to 2 tspn (depends on your taste) i used maggi hot and sweet tomato chilli sauce
  • Green chilli sauce - 1 tspn
  • Vinegar - 1/4 tspn
  • Green chilli - 2 nos
  • Kashmiri chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Oil - 2 tblspn ( i used olive oil )
  • Spring onion - for garnishing
  • Salt - to taste

  • Heat oil in a kadai, add onion after it turns pink add ginger garlic paste and saute 
  • when the raw smell goes add all the vegetables,green chilli and mix well, keep in high flame and stir continously till vegetables  becomes tender
  • Now add chilli powder, all sauces , vinegar, salt and keep on stirring 
  • After a minute add paneer, mix well and then add the rice noodles 
  • Stir nicely till all the noodles coated with the masala keep in flame for 2 minutes 
  • Serve the chinese style rice noodles with spring onion garnish


Note:
This will be spicy, for children you can use tomato sauce instead of tomato chilli sauce and omit green chilli sauce and chopped green chilli.
