Tasty Dal Snack



Ingredients:

  • Moong dal - 1 cup (80ml cup)
  • Bengal gram dal - 1 cup (80ml)
  • Rice flour - 4 to 5 tblspn
  • Jeera - 1 tspn
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Asafoetida powder - a pinch 
  • Ghee - 1 to 1 1/2 tspn
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - for deep fry

Method:

  • Soak dals in water for 2 hrs, then filtered and grind to paste
  • To this add rice flour (don't need to add all the rice flour ) small quantity for making shapes
  • Add chilli powder, jeera, asafoetida powder, salt , ghee mix well and make desire shape
  • Heat oil in a kadai ( for deep fry ) fry the dal mixture in whatever shape you want 
  • Serve hot and enjoy the tasty dal snack
