Ingredients:
- Moong dal - 1 cup (80ml cup)
- Bengal gram dal - 1 cup (80ml)
- Rice flour - 4 to 5 tblspn
- Jeera - 1 tspn
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
- Asafoetida powder - a pinch
- Ghee - 1 to 1 1/2 tspn
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep fry
Method:
- Soak dals in water for 2 hrs, then filtered and grind to paste
- To this add rice flour (don't need to add all the rice flour ) small quantity for making shapes
- Add chilli powder, jeera, asafoetida powder, salt , ghee mix well and make desire shape
- Heat oil in a kadai ( for deep fry ) fry the dal mixture in whatever shape you want
- Serve hot and enjoy the tasty dal snack
