Ingredients:
- Wheat flour - 1 cup
- Besan flour - 1/4 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
- Chilli powder - 1/2 to 3/4 tspn
- Dhania powder - 1/2 tspn
- Sesame seeds - 2 to 21/2 tspn
- Salt - as required
- Oil - for making theplas
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients with 2 tspn oil in a bowl and knead nicely till gets a soft dough
- Close the bowl with a clean cloth or keep dough in a closed container for 20mins
- Then take small amount of dough make balls and make chappathi
- Heat tawa, cook the theplas with oil till it cooks both sides with golden brown spots
- Serve hot gujarathi special theplas with curd or pickle.
