Ananya's Paneer Nuggets




                                                        Deep Fried Paneer Nuggets



                                                     Shallow fried Paneer Nuggets

Ingredients:

  • Aloo - 1 cup ( cooked and smashed )
  • Paneer - 1/4 cup ( cut vertically for 1 inch size )
  • Mint leaves or coriander leaves - 2 tspn ( as needed )
  • Garam masala - 1 tspn
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
  • Chopped green chilli - 1/2 tspn
  • Salt - to taste
  • Corn flour - 1 tblspn
  • Maida flour - 1 tblspn
  • Bread scrumbs - as required
  • Oil - for frying


Method:
  • In a bowl take smashed aloo,chopped mint leaves, green chilli, garam masala, chilli, pepper powder salt and mix well
  • Take a small amount of dough press in hand as round shape place 1 piece of paneer in centre and close it
  • Mix corn flour, maida with water to dosai flour consistency 
  • Dip the paneer stuffed aloo dough into the corn maida liquid till it covers the whole 
  • Then roll the stuff in bread scrumbs nicely till it covers fully and keep it aside

For deep frying:
  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying, then nuggets and allow it to cook
  • When it becomes golden brown on both sides take out and serve hot with tomato sauce

For shallow frying:
  • After rolled in bread scrumbs press slightly the whole nuggets 
  • Heat tawa, keep nuggets and cook with oil till it becomes golden brown on both sides
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce
