Ingredients:
- Ladies finger - 250 gms
- Bengal gram flour - 3 tblspn
- Peanut powder - 11/2 tblspn
- Sesame Seeds - 2 tblspn
- Dhania powder - 1 tspn
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tspn
- oil - for shallow fry
- sugar - 1/4 tspn
- Coriander leaves - 1 - 2 tspn
- salt - to taste
For seasonings:
Omam or Ajwain - 1/2 tspn
Sesame Seeds - 1 tspn
Method:
- wash the ladies finger if it is small then cut vertically (not full only 3/4th level) if it is large then cut in to two halves then cut vertically
- Take bengal gram flour in a bowl to this add peanut powder, sesame seed turmeric, dhania powder, salt and 2 tspn oil and mix
- Then add chilli powder, sugar and coriander and mix well
- Stuff this masala inside the ladies finger
- Heat oil in a kadai, add ajwain and sesame seeds after it turns golden brown add the stuffed bindhi, then add the remaining masala on it
- mix well the masala and bindhi, cook till the bindhi becomes soft with constant stirring
- After bindhi becomes tender switch off the stove and serve the Gujarathi tasty Stuffed Bindhi.
