Ingredients:
- Oats - 1/2 Cup
- Rice Flour - 1/4 Cup
- Pottu kadalai or Roasted channa dal powder - 1/4 Cup
- Green chilli - 2 or 3
- Chopped Ginger - 1/2 tspn
- Chopped Garlic - 1/4 tspn (optional )
- Jeera Powder or Jeera - 1 tspn
- Chopped Coriander - 1 tblspn
- Asafoetida Powder
- Curry leaves - few - a pinch
- Chopped Onion - 1/4 Cup
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep fry
- Soak the oats in water for 1/2 hr then filter the excess water or ( previously add water up to its surface)
- To the oats add rice flour, roasted channa dal powder, chopped chilli, ginger, garlic,coriander , curry leaves, onion, jeera, salt, asafoetida powder and mix well
- No need to add water the water content in the oats is enough, if want can add small amount or springle some on it and form a dough
- Heat oil in the kadai, take small amount of dough in hand , make small round by pressing it in the palm slighlty and deep fry it in oil
- Serve the Tasty Oats Pakoda with sauce or coconut chutney
