Ingredients:
- Bindi or Ladies Finger - 250 gms
- Onion - 3 medium size
- Tomato - 2 small size
- Chilli Powder - 1 to 1/2 tspn
- Turmeric Powder -1/4 tspn
- Ginger garlic Paste - 2 tspn
- Garam Masala - 1 tspn
- Jeera - 1 tspn
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep fry
Method:
- Wash, dry and cut the bindi to 1 inch size
- Grind the tomato and onion in a mixie into fine paste
- Heat oil in a kadai, add the bindi, fry it until the skin shrinks and cook well
- Then take out the bindi stain the oil and keep it aside
- Heat 3 tblspn of oil in a kadai ( or you can use the bindi fried oil by reducing it ) add jeera after it pops out add tomato onion paste, followed by chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and mix well
- After 2 mins add garam masala, salt and keep it in low flame until the raw smell goes and oil separates out
- Then add fried bindi, mix well and keep it in low flame for 5 to 10 mins
- Switch off the stove and serve hot easy and tasty bindi masala
