Ingredients:
- Broken Wheat - 1 cup
- Chopped onion - 2 tablespoon
- Chopped Vegetables ( carrot, beans, peas) - 1 cup
- Green Chillies - 2 nos (according to spiceness )
- Mint Leaves - 2 tablespoon
- Garlic Flakes - 6 nos
- Finely Chopped Ginger - 1 tspn
- Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
- Cloves - 2 nos
- Cardamon - 2 nos
- Cashewnut - 2 tablespoon for garnishing
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 2 cups
- Butter or ghee - 2 tspn
- Oil - 2 tablespoon
Method:
- Fry the cashewnut in ghee and broken wheat and keep it aside
- Grind 4 garlic flakes along with mint leaves, green chilli and keep it aside
- Heat oil in pan, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamon and when it pop up add onion, ginger and garlic
- Saute it until onion cooks well, then add mint, garlic, green chilli paste and mix nicely until raw smell goes
- To this add 2 cups water and allow it to boil, then add salt and broken wheat
- Stir the mixture well and close the lid for few minutes
- Serve the tasty veg broken wheat pulav with fried cashew garnishing
