Ingredients:
- Ragi Samiya - 500gms
- Onion - 1 medium size
- Green Chilli - 2 medium size ( according to spicyness needed )
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon
- Curry Leaves - Few nos
- Salt - According to taste
For Tempering:
- Oil - 2 tablespoon
- Mustard Seed - 1 tspn
- Urad Dhall ( broken or Full ) - 2 tspn
Method:
- Soak the Ragi Samiya in water for 3-5 mins if it is thin samiya and stain it completely
- Chop the Onion and Green chilli
- Heat oil in a kadai and add the temperings, then add ginger garlic paste and saute it until raw smell goes
- Then add chopped onion ,garlic and saute until onion turns light brown.
- Now add filtered samiya followed by salt and curry leaves
- Mix them well and keep in low flame for 5 to 10 mins by constant stirring
- Healthy Ragi Samiya is ready to eat , serve with any chutneys.
