Ananya's Spicy Capsicum Fried Rice

















Ingredients:

  • Basmathi Rice - 2 cups
  • Capsicum - 1 big size
  • Onion - 1 medium size
  • Green Chilli - 2 medium size
  • Ginger Garllic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy Sauce -2 tablespoon
  • Chilli Sauce - 2 tablespoon
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam Masala - 2 tspn
  • Salt - According to taste
  • Oil - 2 tablespoon


Method:

  • Soak 2 cup of Basmathi rice in normal water for 15 to 20 mins
  • Boil 4 cups of water and add Basmathi rice along with 2 tspn oil ( to avoid stickiness) in pan and close the lid until it cooks
  • Strain the excess water if present  and keep them aside
  • Thinly chop the capsicum, green chilli and onion ( whatever shape you like )
  • Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in pan, add ginger garlic paste and saute them for 3 - 5 mins until raw smell goes.
  • Then add chopped onion and saute until it turns light brown
  • To this add chopped chilli and capsicum and stir continuously until it get cook.
  • Add Garam  masala, Soy sauce, Chilli sauce, Pepper. Salt and mix them well
  • keep in flame for 3 mins and stir well.
  • Then add Basmathi rice mix them well and keep in flame for 2 mins
  • Serve the Spicy Capsicum Rice with tomato sauce or raitha.
