Ananya's Yummy Chinese Fried Rice





Ingredients:
  • Basmathi Rice - 2 cups
  • Thinly Chopped Vegetables - 1 cup ( Carrot, Beans, Cabbage,Capsicum )
  • Spring Onion - 1 no
  • Onion - 1 medium size
  • Chopped Ginger - 1 tspn
  • Chopped Garlic - 2 tspn
  • Pepper Powder - 11/2 tspn
  • Salt -1 1/2 to 1 3/4 tspn ( according to taste )
  • Aginomotto - 1/2 tpsn
  • Vinegar or Lime juice - 2 tspn
  • Oil or Ghee - 3 tspn


Method:
  • In 4 cups of boiling water cook the basmathi rice ( 90%) drained and keep aside
  • Heat oil or ghee in a kadai, add onion, ginger, garlic saute it ( don't allow the onion to turn brown )
  • Then add chopped vegetables and keep in sim for 2 mins
  • Add the drained rice mix well, then add pepper powder, aginomotto, salt and vinegar or lime juice 
  • Mix all the ingredients well and keep in sim fire for 4 to 5 mins by constant stirring
  • Garnish with spring onion and serve the Yummy Vegetable Fried Rice
