Ingredients:
- Pori - 4 cups
- Garlic Pods - 3 nos
- Chilli Powder - 1 tspn
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tspn
- Salt - 1/4 tspn
- Ghee - 1 to 11/2 tspn
- Asafoetida Powder - 1/4 tspn
- Peanut - 1/4 cup
- Bengal gram dhal - 2 tspn
- Pepper Powder - 1/4 tspn
- Curry Leaves - few
Method:
- Heat ghee in a kadai, add asafoetida powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt ,bengal gram dhal, peanuts,slightly crushed garlic pods, curry leaves and saute well
- To this add pori ( puffed rice ) and mix well
- Lastly add 1/4 tspn pepper powder ( if needed ) and serve spicy kara pori
