Wheat dosai batter
Crispy Wheat Dosai
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour - 2 cup
- Rice flour - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1 tspn ( according to taste )
- Water - 21/4 to 21/2 cups
For Seasonings:
- Jeera - 1 tspn
- Mustard seeds - 1 1/2 tspn
- Asafoetida Powder - 1/2 tspn
- Curry Leaves - few
- Oil - 11/4 tspn
Method:
- To wheat and rice flour add water to make batter of buttermilk consistency
- Heat oil in kadai and add seasonings, Mix that with the batter and add required amount of salt
- Heat nonstick tawa or pan and pour a laddle of batter in a circular motion and make the crispy wheat dosai
- Add little oil till golden brown and crispyness comes on both sides.
- Serve the hot wheat dosai with coconut chutney and idli chilli powder.
