Ingredients:
Rava or Sooji - 3/4 cup
Rice flour - 1 cup
Maida or all purpose flour - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1 tspn or more according to taste
Pepper - 1 tspn ( slightly crushed )
Jeera - 1/4 tspn ( slightly crushed )
Green chilli - 1or 2 nos ( chopped )
Curry leaves- Few
Method:
Mix rava, rice flour , maida and salt. Add enough water to make a thick batter without clumps
Add pepper, jeera, green chilli and curry leaves, Add more water to make a thin batter of buttermilk consistency
Heat a nonstick tawa or pan, Pour a ladle of batter in a circular motion and make the dosas. Add little oil till golden brown and cripsyness comes on both sides
Serve cripsy rava dosa with coconut chutney the best combination.
Other types of Rava dosai:
Onion Rava dosai : For this add chopped onion with the batter.
Vegetable Rava dosai : For this add onion, grated carrot , coriander leaves with the batter.
