Corn Flour Halwa



Ingredients:

  • Corn flour - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 21/4 to 21/2 cup (depends on sweetness required)
  • Water - 3 cups
  • Cashew broken - 1 to 11/4 tblspn
  • Ghee - 3 to 5 tspn
  • Food colour (any colour) - a pinch (optional)

Method:

  • In a pan take water, sugar, corn flour and mix them without forming lumps then keep in stove on low flame
  • Stir it continuously without taking hand, after 5 to 10 minutes it will start thickening at that time add food colour and mix it well
  • Add ghee 1 tspn at a time and stir it and after that add the cashew and mix 
  • when it comes without touching the side of the vessel transfer it to a ghee coated plate and cool it
  • After some minutes cut it in to desire shape and enjoy
