Ragi Butter Murukku


Ingredients:

  • Ragi flour - 2 cups
  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Roasted gram flour - 1/2 cup
  • Butter or ghee - 3 tblspn
  • white ellu ( til ) - 1 tblspn
  • Chilli powder - 1 tspn
  • Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tspn
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - for deep frying

Method:

  • In a bowl take the all the ingredients except oil and mix them well
  • Add water little by little and make dough
  • Heat oil in a kadai for deep fry
  • Take murukku maker with 3star holes, put small amount of dough inside the oil greased murukku maker and press it on the hot oil surface 
  • After it turns golden brown on both sides take it out and keep in butter paper to absorb excess oil
