Ingredients:
- Ragi flour - 2 cups
- Rice flour - 1 cup
- Roasted gram flour - 1/2 cup
- Butter or ghee - 3 tblspn
- white ellu ( til ) - 1 tblspn
- Chilli powder - 1 tspn
- Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tspn
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep frying
Method:
- In a bowl take the all the ingredients except oil and mix them well
- Add water little by little and make dough
- Heat oil in a kadai for deep fry
- Take murukku maker with 3star holes, put small amount of dough inside the oil greased murukku maker and press it on the hot oil surface
- After it turns golden brown on both sides take it out and keep in butter paper to absorb excess oil
