Ingredients:
- Mushroom (button mushroom ) - 200 gms
- Besan flour - 1 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Chilli powder - 1 to 2 tspn
- Cooking soda - 2 pinch
- Oil - for deep frying
- Water - for making batter
Method:
- Wash the mushroom thoroughly and remove the stem ( you will get a empty space inside )
- Dry it with a clean kitchen cloth and keep it aside ( i should dry completely )
- Heat oil in a kadai
- In a bowl take besan flour, salt, chilli powder, cooking soda and mix it well
- Now add water and make batter. the batter should not be too thick or watery ( the batter should coat the mushroom well )
- Dip the mushroom in the batter and deep fry it (the batter automatically stuff the mushroom and give nice taste)
- When it turns golden brown take it out and keep on tissue paper to get ride of excess oil
- Serve hot the tasty mushroom bhaji with tomato sauce or coconut or fried gram chutney
