Ingredients:
- Besan flour - 1/2 cup
- Raw peanut - 4 tblspn
- Chilli powder - 1/2 to 1 tspn
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
- Chaat masala - 1 tspn
- Jeera powder - 1/4 tspn
- Salt - to taste
- Cooking soda - a pinch
- Oil - for deep frying
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadai
- In a bowl add all the ingredients except oil, peanut and mix well
- Then add peanut and 2 tspn of hot oil mix them well, springle some water for the masala to coat all the peanuts
- Deep fry the masala coated peanut as separate nuts ( don't take some mixture and deep fry as such, put them individually by springle with your fingers )
- Serve them with chilli powder and chaat masala garnishing
- This goes well with a filter coffee at evening or side dish for sambar rice also
