Ingredients:
- Wheat flour or Maida flour- 1 cup
- Cashew - 10 nos
- Badam - 10 nos
- Dry grapes or kismiss - 2 tspn
- Sugar - 2 to 21/2 tspn
- Cardamon powder - a pinch or 1/4 tspn
- Ghee - 2tspn
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep fry
Method:
- Make dough with wheat flour, 1/2 tspn ghee, salt , water and keep it aside for 1/2 hr
- Take cashew, badam, dry grapes, sugar and grind to powder in mixie, afterthat add 1/2 tspn ghee, cardamon powder and mix it
- Heat oil in a kadai along with 1 tspn ghee.
- Take very small dough in hand make basket like shape fill the nuts mixture and gather all the corners together , press the top portion and make modhagam
- Deep fry this nuts stuffed modhagam in oil till it becomes golden brown on both sides
Note:
- We can also use this nuts mixture for making nuts stuffed chappathis
- Since it is very nutritious and tasty, children will love it
