Ananya's Spicy Cauliflower , Potato Curry or Sabji



Ingredients:


  • Cauliflower - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1/2 cup
  • Potato - 1/2 cup 
  • Green Peas - 1/4 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Chilli powder - 1 tspn ( according to spiceness)
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
  • Kasuri methi - 1 tspn
  • Jeera - 1/4 to 1/2 tspn
  • Oil - 2 tspn
  • Salt - to taste


Method:

  • Cut cauliflower as separate floret and the potato in cube shape
  • In a bowl add cauliflower, potato and green peas, to this add boiling water along with salt and keep it for 5 to 10 mts
  • Then drain the water and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add jeera when it pops out add onion saute for few mins then add ginger garlic paste
  • After the raw smell goes add turmeric, chilli powder and mix well
  • After 3 mins add all the vegetables ( cauliflower, potato. peas) and mix nicely, if want springle some water and close the lid 
  • 10 mts later open the lid and see if vegetables are cooked then add salt, garam masala and kasuri methi mix nicely and keep in stove for 2 to 3 mins with constant stirring. after that switch off the stove
  • Serve Spicy Cauliflower, Potato Sabji hot
