Ingredients:
- Black Chenna - 200 gms
- Onion - 2 medium size
- Tomato - 1 small
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
- Chilli powder - 1 to 11/2 tspn
- Coriander powder - 1 tspn
- Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
- Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
- Cloves - 1 no
- Coriander leaves - 1 to 2 tblspn
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 11/2 tblspn
Method:
- Soak the black chenna in water overnight,next day cook the black chenna till it becomes tender with new water in pressure cooker
- Heat oil in a kadai, add cinnamon, cloves when it pops out add chopped onion and saute it becomes pinkish, then add ginger garlic paste
- Saute this till raw smell goes, then add chopped tomato mix well and keep in low flame till the tomato cooks well and becomes smash
- Now add turmeric, chilli and coriander powder, mix well keep stirring for 2 mins and add cooked chenna mix well, add little water and close the lid
- After 3 minutes add salt and garam masala and again close the lid for 2 minutes
- When water completely absorbed switch off the stove and serve black chenna curry with corainder garnish
