Ingredients:
- Basmathi Rice - 200gms
- Thinly chopped Carrot, beans - 1 cup
- Chopped Cabbage - 1/2 cup
- Onion - 2 nos ( thinly chopped )
- Spring Onion Chopped - 1/2 Cup
- Garlic Chopped - 1 tblspn
- Soya Sauce - 1 to 2 tspn
- Green Chilli - 2 nos ( thinly chopped )
- Pepper Powder - 1 to 2 tspn
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 3 to 4 tblspn
- Ghee or butter - 1 tblspn
Method:
- Soak the basmathi rice in water for 30 to 45 mts, then strain it and fried it along with ghee and 1/2 tblspn garlic for few mts
- Then add water upto its surface and cook the rice. Cooked rice should be as separate strands
- Heat 2 tblspn of oil and 2 tspn of ghee or butter in a kadai, stove should be in high flame add onion followed by green chilli, garlic saute it for a minute, then add beans, carrot and stir it well
- Then add cabbage and again stir it continuously
- After 2 minutes add soya sauce followed by pepper powder, salt and mix well
- Keep this in low flame for 2 more minutes with constant stirring
- Then add cooked rice and spring onion and mix well
- Again keep in high flame and stir continuously for few minute (inbetween if you want add oil or butter)
- Serve the Tasty Fried Rice with tomato sauce or any manchurian as side dish
