Ingredients:
- Paneer - 200gms ( 1 Cup )
- Green Bell Pepper ( Kashmiri Mirchi / Kodai milagai ) - 1 Cup
- Onion - 3 medium size
- Tomato - 4 medium size
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tspn
- Ginger garlic Paste - 1 tspn
- Coriander Powder - 1 tspn
- Jeera Powder - 1/2 tspn
- Chilli Powder - 1 tspn or 1-1/2 tspn ( depends up on the spicyness needed )
- Kesari Colour - 1/4 tspn ( if needed )
- Ginger - small inch
- Cinnamon - small stick or cinnamon powder ( 1/4 tspn )
- Cloves - 2 nos
- Brinji leaves - 1 small
- Methi leaves or Kasuri methi - 1 or 2 tspn
- Chopped Coriander - 2 tblspn
- Fresh Cream - 1 tblspn ( optional )
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1-1/4 tblspn
- Butter - 4 tspn
Method:
- Chop the paneer and bell pepper in cubical shape
- In 2 tspn butter fry paneer and bell pepper separately for few mins and keep aside
- Grind onion, tomato, ginger, chilli powder, salt, kesari colour ( optional ) well
- Heat oil in a kadai , add cloves, brinji leaves cinnamon powder and ginger garlic paste and saute well till raw smell goes
- Then add the grinded onion tomato paste, add turmeric, jeera, coriander powder and allow to cook
- When oil separates out or when the bubbles stop and gravy becomes thick add salt ( check the taste and add salt ), slightly fried paneer and bell peppers and stirr well. Keep this in low flame for few minutes
- Add fresh cream (optional ) mix well and switch off the flame
- Serve the Yummy Kadai Paneer with coriander garnish
- This serve as a side dish for chappathi, Naan, Fried Rice, Parotta etc......
