Ingredients:
- Wheat Flour - 3 Cups
- Mint / Pudina - 1 Cup ( not
tightly packed )
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tspn
- Jeera Powder - 1/4 tspn
- Chilli Powder - 1/2
tspn Or
- Green Chilli - 1 big
- Garam Masala - 1/4 tspn
(optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 3 tspn for flour
- Oil - for making chappathi
- Ghee - 1 to 2 tblspn
- Water - to make dough
Method:
- Grind pudina, green chilli or
red chilli and make paste
- To the flour add pudina
paste, jeera powder, salt , garam masala (optional),oil, some pudina
leaves ( if needed) and make dough with the help of
water
- Keep the dough in cloth
closed vessel for 1 to 2 hrs ( more the soaking time more the softness )
- Take a big lemon size dough
and roll it in to a round shape, apply small quantity of ghee on the
surface and fold it ( which look like a samosa without stuffing), then
coat it with flour and roll out again to make paratha with even thickness
on all side ( shape looks like a very thin large samosa without stuffing
)
- Heat tawa, cook paratha by
applying ghee or oil on both side till it have brown spots on both side
- Serve hot tasty Pudina
