- Rice - 1 cup ( basmathi is preferable)
- Chopped Coriander leaf - 1 tablespoon
- Mint leaf - 3 to 4 leaf
- Green Chillies - 2 nos
- Garlic flakes - 2 to 3 nos
- Onion - 1 big ( thinly chopped )
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1/4 tspn
- Cloves - 1 no
- Bay leaf - 1 no ( small )
- Cinnamon - 1 no ( small )
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Method:
- Cook the rice as separate grains ,steam the peas and keep it aside
- Heat oil in a pan, add cinnamon, bay leaf , clove. Then add chopped onion and saute well
- When onion turns pink add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw smell goes
- Mean while grind coriander leaf, mint leaf, garlic and green chilli in to fine paste
- Mix this coriander mixture in to the pan along with onion, salt and saute for few minutes until raw smell goes
- Then add peas and rice mix them well, keep it in low flame for 5 mins
- Serve this spicy peas pulav hot with little ghee on top
