Ananya's Easy and Spicy Peas Pulav








Ingredients:
  • Rice - 1 cup ( basmathi is preferable)
  • Chopped Coriander leaf - 1 tablespoon
  • Mint leaf -  3 to 4 leaf 
  • Green Chillies - 2 nos
  • Garlic flakes - 2 to 3 nos
  • Onion - 1 big ( thinly chopped )
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1/4 tspn
  • Cloves - 1 no
  • Bay leaf - 1 no ( small )
  • Cinnamon - 1 no ( small )
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
Method:
  • Cook the rice  as separate grains ,steam the peas and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cinnamon, bay leaf , clove. Then add chopped onion and saute well
  • When onion turns pink add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw smell goes
  • Mean while grind coriander leaf, mint leaf, garlic and green chilli in to fine paste
  • Mix this coriander mixture in to the pan along with onion, salt and saute for few minutes until raw smell goes
  • Then add peas  and rice mix them well, keep it in low flame for 5 mins
  • Serve this spicy peas pulav hot with little ghee on top
