Ananya's Crispy and Tasty Javvarasi ( Sago ) Vadai




Ingredients:

  • Sago/Javvarasi - 1/2 Cup
  • Rice Flour - 1/2 Cup
  • Curd - 1/4 to 1/2 Cup
  • Chopped Green Chilli - 1 to 2 tblspn ( according to spiceness )
  • Salt - To taste
  • Oil - For deep frying
  • Coriander leaf - few ( optional )


Method:

  • In a bowl take sago, rice flour, chopped green chillies, salt , curd and mix them well 
  • Make dough with this mixture by adding curd little by little
  • Keep this mixture until the sago becomes soft ( orelse previously soak the sago in hot water for few mins then add to this mixture) it will take nearly 2 hrs for sago become soft
  • Heat oil in kadai , make small ball with the dough by pressing slightly in the palm and deep fry it until it turns golden brown on both sides
  • Now the javvarasi / Sago mixture is ready to eat. Serve hot with sauce
