Stuffing the bhindi with masala
Spicy Stuffed Bhindi Ready
Ingredients:
- Bhindi or Ladies Finger - 1/4 kg
- Chopped Onion - 1 big size
- Chopped Tomato - 1 medium size
- Seeded and Chopped Green chillies - 2 nos
- Cumin Seeds - 1tspn
- Chopped Ginger - 1 tspn
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tspn
Stuffing Ingredients:
- Chilli Powder - 2 tspn
- Coriander Powder - 3 tspn
- Turmeric Poweder - 1/4 tspn
- Grounded Fennel Seeds - 1/4 tspn
- Dry Mango Powder - 1/2 tspn
- Salt - 1/2 tspn ( according to taste )
Method:
- Cut the stalk of the Bhindi and make lengthwise cut
- Mix the stuffing ingredients well and stuff the bhindi
- Heat oil in the pan and saute cumin seeds until crackle
- Add Onion, Green chillies and saute until onion turns transparent
- Then add Ginger Garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes
- Now add Tomato and cook well
- Add Stuffed Bhindi and cook for 5 or 1o mts until tender and well coated with masala
- Serve Stuffed Bhindi hot
Variance:
After stuffing the bhindi we can cook directly in the pan with sauted cumin seeds and asofoetida powder without masala, In this method we will get more Crispy Stuffed Bhindi
