Pasta in Palak Sauce


Hi Friends,

Yesterday  i tried out this recipe ( my another own recipe ) , If you have time try it out and let me know your feedback  (both positive and negative, to ' +' or  ' - ' any ingredients)


Ingredients:

  • Pasta ( cooked ) - 2 and 1/4 cup
  • Palak leaves - 10 nos ( large leaves)
  • Mushroom chopped -  1 to 2 tblspn
  • Garlic chopped - 1 tblspn
  • Onion chopped - 1/2 no
  • Spring onion both white and green part - 2 tblspn ( chopped )
  • Red chilli sauce - 1/2 tspn
  • Green chilli - 1 no
  • Chilli flakes - 1 to 2 tspn
  • Vinegar - 3/4 tspn
  • Pepper powder - 1 tspn
  • Fresh cream - 2 tspn
  •    or
  • Cheese - as required
  • Oregano or mixed herbs - 1 to 2 tspn
  • Salt - to taste
  • Butter or oil - 1 1/2 tblspn 

Method:

  • Blanch the palak leaves in boiling water and grind it to paste
  • Cook pasta in boiling water along with salt and 2 tspn oil then filtered it and wash under running watter
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add garlic and onion saute it for a minute than add mushroom , spring onion, green chilli mix it well
  • After a minute add palak puree keep in low flame for a minute or two
  • Then add  red chilli paste, vinegar, pepper powder, oregano or mixed herbs and chilli flakes
  • Saute it for 2 minutes then add cooked pasta to the palak sauce and mix it well till all the pasta coated with the palak sauce
  • Keep in low flame for minute or two and switch off the stove add 2 tspn fresh cream , spring onion and serve hot

Note:

  • You can grind green chilli and garlic along with palak leaves
  • If you are using cheese add it to the pasta keep in low flame for a minute then switch off the stove
