Baby Corn Gravy


Ingredients:

  • Baby corn - 13 nos
  • Onion - 3 nos ( 2 big and 1 small )
  • Tomato - 2 nos ( 2 big )
  • Chilli powder - 1 tspn
  • Cumin powder - 1/4 tspn
  • Coriander powder - 1 tspn
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
  • Kasuri methi - 1 tspn
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 tspn
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tspn
  • Milk - 1/4 cup 
  • Fresh cream - for garnishing
  • Coriander leaf - for garnishing
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tblspn

Method:

  • Heat 1 tspn of oil in a kadai and saute chopped 2 big onion, tomato for 3 to 4 mins then switch off the stove in that heat add chilli, cumin, coriander powder 
  • After the mixture cools grind it in to fine paste
  • Chop the baby corn and cook in a pan along with water, turmeric powder, salt  till it becomes soft
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add cumin seeds after it pops out add onion after a minute add ginger garlic paste
  • After the raw smell goes add kasuri methi, tomato sauce and saute for few seconds
  • Then add the grinded paste and allow it to cook for 3 to 4 mins in low flame
  • Now add milk and mix them well check for salt then add baby corn 
  • After 2 mins switch off the stove 
  • Serve the tasty baby corn gravy with fresh cream, coriander leaf garnish
