Parangikai Pal Kootu

                                                                                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                     
Ingredients:

  • Yellow pumpkin or Parangikai - 1 cup ( peel the skin and chopped )
  • Milk - 1/4 to 1/2 cup
  • Grated jaggery or sugar  - 21/2 to 3 tblspn
  • Salt - a pinch

Method:

  • Cook the pumpkin with water up to its surface 
  • Smash it after it cooked and water absorbed , then add grated jaggery
  • In the heat jaggery will melt and combine with the pumpkin after it reaches thick consistency
  • Now add milk, if you want thick gravy add less milk , if want thin add more milk
  • Switch off the stove and serve
