Ananya's Easy and Quick Sooji or Rava Vadai



Ingredients:

  • Sooji or Rava - 1 Cup
  • Curd ( with slight sourness ) - 1/2  to 3/4 Cup
  • Green Chilli - 2 nos
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Chopped Coriander - 1 to 2 tspn
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - For deep fry
Method:
  • Fry the rava in a empty kadai or use readymade roasted rava 
  • In a bowl add rava, chopped green chilli, ginger, coriander, salt and mix well
  • To this add curd little by little by constant stirring and make dough with moisture( not too hard ) and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a kadai, soak this vadai mixture until oil heats up or soak for 1/2 hrs before (optional )
  • Take lemon size dough in palm make small vadai and deep fry it
  • Serve this hot sooji vadai with raw tomato-onion chutney
