Ingredients:
- Broken Wheat Rava - 11/4 Cup
- Onion - 1 big
- Butter Milk - 1/2 Cup
- Green chilli - 2 no
- Mustard - 1/2 tspn
- Broken Urad Dhall - 11/2 tspn
- Channa Dhall - 1/2 tspn
- Asafoetida Powder - 1/4 tspn
- Curry Leaf - few nos
- Salt - To taste
- Water - 21/2 Cups
- Oil - 2 tblspn
- Slightly fry the broken wheat rava in empty kadai or with 1/4 tspn oil
- Heat 2 tblspn oil in a kadai, add mustard when it starts bursting add broken urad dhall, channa dhalll, chopped green chilli, onion, asafoetida powder , curry leaves and saute it
- Then add 2 and a half cups of water when it start to boil with so much of bubbles on top add 1/2 cup of butter milk, salt and broken wheat rava
- Mix all the ingredients well , allow it to cook by closing the lid. After the rava cooked nicely switch of the stove and serve the broken wheat rava uppuma hot.
